I was allowed to adopt Dexter 6 years ago when he was 2 1/2. He was an absolute joy and whenever I needed advice about one thing or another BDRNE were always there with their years of experience. They don't demand that you enrol as a regular donator like some others.although of course you need to donate when you are offered a dog. They are a first class boxer rescue.

I love the fact that all dogs are kept at a foster home rather than in kennels or a dog pound, I feel this helps the dog psychologically. Even though our rescue dog was a street dog, he has settled into our home environment very quickly. BDRNE are a wonderful rescue charity and I would and have highly recommended them. This organisation is great as they keep you updated with your application. Mine took 3 months to find the perfect match for me but kept reassuring the perfect match will be found, and I am so glad that I waited as I have a brilliant dog named Lilly now :D If I've ever had questions or needed help then there is always someone there to help and give advice. Thank you! Adoption: March 2013

BDRNE was a easy to apply for foster/adoption. All the voluneers were really approachable and very help full. They tell you exactly would type of dog is available and will only match one to suit your needs. We first fostered Roan our boxer he came from the pound in Ireland we adopted him straight away. Then 7mths later we adopted Luna a 6mths old bitch. every thing was done professionally. The great side is that we now have many friends and can contact any of the staff if we need help. The adoption form was easy to complete, once submitted my home check was completed quite fast.
Once I a match was found by the rescue, taking into account my needs and my dogs needs, full information was sent to me including a photograph, the initial information was provided by the previous owner who had disclosed this when the dog was surrendered, then further information was provided by the fosterer and a contact number was also provided so that first hand information could be obtained from the foster home. A controlled introduction was done with the dog and upon the match being perfect, the adoption paperwork was completed, the bdrne member emphasised that follow up assistance and support would always be available should it be required. Adoption: June 2012

We started off as foster parents for Boxers from BDRNE, but when Benson came to us we fell in love. The BDRNE staff were great, informative, and helpful before during and after the adoption. All the staff are volunteers so it can take a while to get things sorted, but when they match dogs with new owners they are very good. Adoption: 2011

I got my dog from fostering home fresh out of kennels. Guys at rescue are very helpful once you can get hold of them. Also have a very good support site. Adoption: 2009

Well what can I say to sum up the great support that we got from BDRN....Amazing!! When we got our boy bailey we got so much help before, during and after the adoption. It was fabulous!! Even when while Bailey was in foster and accidentally cut his paw BDRN took care of everything and made sure that he was okay and ready to come to his new home on time and with a clean bill of health. He has been a great dog the best and most greatfull we've ever had and it's all down to BDRN, Thank-you for allowing us to have Bailey in our family, he is perfect - best 4 years we have had in a long time :) Adoption: 2008
