The Edward Foundation are a fantastic organisation that find the right home for the dogs needs and not just give a dog to someone that wants one. Advice is always available even 8 months later. I was informed of any medical needs and advised how to treat and care for my dog. Even got a second rescue from them.

The Edward Foundation are amazing. They deal with poorly mistreated dogs in the best possible way & have grown from strength to strength. My rescue was brought back to health before I was chosen to be her mummy. They are constantly there if I need any advice or guidance.
I can't praise them enough.

I found the process of applying to adopt very easy and the staff at the Edward Foundation very helpful and knowledgable about the bulldog breed. The website was easy to use, but I used their Facebook page.
I was informed of the history of Cherry, the dog I was adopting and all her likes, dislikes and any health issues. They had done a fantastic care plan with her as she was starved and very thin when they rescued her.
They all do fantastic work to help this breed of dog and I would go through the process again.
I have had Cherry for 17 months now and love her to bits and now has the life she deserves, and we meet up with the foundation regularly at walks and fundraisers. They are always there if I have any queries. I would recommend to anyone.

An Absolutely amazing set up with volunteers willing to do anything and everything possible to find the right match for the dogs and families. Support and contact following adoption has been A* and nothing is ever too much trouble when help/advice or reassurance is needed. Everyone we have met through the rescue has been super.

The Edward Foundation is accessible via their dedicated site, along with social media. Going onto the site immediately gives you access to the poor dogs in their care, as a added measure control of who is able to potentially adopt starts with having to friend the admin. I felt this was handy as your welcomed on the condition your very own profile is suitable. I choose a dog that I felt would be able to settle with my very own Bulldog and a rescued Terrier, inevitably after that the foundation choose me. I was vetted clearly and the home visit was done in plenty of time that suited me and at my convenience. Once that was over a was placed on a list with other potential adoptees, on my very first application I was successful. My girl was just recovering from an eye problem, so I waited till after Christmas and was kept up to date from the admin and her foster. My girl had to journey from Wales but considering she spend over four years at a miserable puppy farm im sure she didn't mind. She now has a sofa for life, her own personality and the ability to run free with my other two.

We rescued our beautiful bulldog Ivy from the edward foundation and would definatly do it again. They are a brilliant charity and really look after their dogs and their adoptive parents. Always at the end of the phone or message should we have any questions. They were supportive throughout the whole process and happy to help where they can. Every dog is suited to their perfect family and the bulldogs are their main priority. Cannot praise them enough for their help guidance and support!

We adopted Winnie from the Edward Foundation just over 2 years ago, before adopting her we were made fully aware of her health and behaviour requirements and they have been exactly as promised. We have had amazing support from the foundation since and continue to have contact. I will definitely use the rescue again myself and have recommended them to my friends and family when they've been looking to adopt.

The Edward Foundation, has the dogs best interest at the heart of all of there work. I have not come across another dog rescue organisation that is as caring, thoughtful, and professional when re-homing there dogs. They go above and beyond to match the right forever home/people with there dogs. We Adopted Bertie 6 months ago and was fully briefed on his diet/exercise/vaccine history/behavior/health etc he fitted in with us and we love him to bits, and would not be without him. We recommend The Edward Foundation at every opportunity we have and will continue to do so.

The Edward Foundation is run specifically in the sole interest of the rescue, welfare and rehoming of the Bulldog. It is a family like network running the length and breadth of the British Isles where no Bulldog in need is turned away. The admin are Bulldog people through and through and together have a vast knowledge of the Bulldog and will help with any query coming their way. The dogs themselves are enveloped into the Edward family and will be forever. so with not 1 little soul ever forgotten. Each Bulldog is assessed and only placed into the home most suited to ITS needs and not until that perfect home comes along is that Bulldog allowed to be adopted. I have never come across a more caring or conscientious rescue and they deserve every accolade

We adopted from The Edward Foundation on July 25th 2014. They are a breed specific rescue and the work they do is outstanding. Some of the dogs they take into their care have been dreadfully abused and neglected. The fosterers have the knowledge and love to nurture these dogs and give them a whole new lease of life. They are amazing.

When we adopted our Barney from The Edward Foundation a dedicated support group chat was set up to cover any questions we had , nothing was too much trouble for them. There was, and still is an unlimited fountain of knowledge at the end of the phone and keyboard , what was once a charity rescue is now an extended family for us . I could not praise them enough. They go beyond dedication.

A very professional breed specific rescue operation focusing on the rescuing & rehabilitation of Bulldogs. Run by a network of administrators & dedicated volunteers who not only offer support before & during the adoption process but also throughout the lifetime of your dog.
Support & advice is always available through the foundation's dedicated Facebook page where you are encouraged to post photos & updates. It's really good if you have any questions & also gives these vulnerable dogs a second chance at a fantastic new life.

This is a fantastic organisation, totally dedicated to getting at risk bulldogs back to health and into a suitable permanent home.
They are open and honest about the dogs from the moment they come into their care. There are always regular updates about the dogs in foster care, always open communication
They take so much care in making sure each dog goes to the right home for them, the dogs needs always come first.
The teamwork within the group is outstanding, whether it be words of love to the dogs, encouragement, help with transport or things each dog may need and continued support after adoption.
It is a lovely, friendly, close group who all have the best interest of the dogs at heart, everyone is encouraged to be involved in their own way which I am sure is why so many express a wish to volunteer.
Really can't praise the rescue enough, and a little girl is now part of our family as a result.

Absolutely fantastic organisation that do so much work behind the scenes to ensure these dogs get the absolute best possible home.
Without this organisation there would be so many at risk dogs that unfortunately fall by the wayside and end up in disastrous situations.
Their aftercare is second to none and they are always available for guidance and support.
Their is a plethora of support available from what can only be described as a family

A very friendly and professional rescue service for KC Bulldogs. A very helpful and open organisation, giving good advice and will a brilliant back up service, if needed. I would certainly recommend The Edward Foundation to anyone wanting to rescue a KC Bulldog. Efficent, friendly and, in my opinion, one of the best rescue services for any breed of dog
