I have adopted two rescue hounds with Angels, an American Bull Dog, Mylo, and a Mastiff Staffie cross, Ruby. I have been fully supported by the rescue both during the adoption phase and since. They are available pretty much 24/7 online and via telephone. They are always interested in what is happening with the pooches, and are completely supportive. I am truly grateful for their help and support.

We have now adopted two dogs from Angels Animal Rescue - in January 2014 we adopted a 2 year old adult dog, and more recently a 5 month old puppy. Both dogs came from great foster homes. Their foster 'parents' were able to tell us what the dogs would be like in the home (as opposed to other rescues that only know how a dog is in a kennel), which we found to be really helpful. All dogs from Angels are de-flea'd, de-wormed, vaccinated and neutered before adoption, which gave us great peace of mind.
Since adopting our furry family members, Angels have offered us fantastic support for both dogs and there is a great support network of other Angel Adoptees too. Angels do an amazing job and I would highly recommend this rescue to anyone looking to adopt a pooch :)

I was 100% impressed and satisfied with Angels Animal Rescue, from first contact to after care. We visited two dogs in different foster homes and both of the foster families were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The amount of love and care these people have for the dogs could not be beaten. We love our rescue doggy, he is perfect for us.

A friendly professional group who have the best interest of the animals at heart. I was given all the relevant paperwork and advice I needed and the meet and greet was handled brilliantly. I would never have considered adoption before, however after my experience with Angel's I would never buy another dog and would always look to rescue for any future pets. My rescue dog has brought so much joy to our lives, the assessment of his character and temperament by Angels was correct. We have had no hidden surprises,he is a much loved member of our family.

Fantastic Rescue - a great friendly volunteer team. After adoption service is great. No kennels, just lovely people opening up their homes and hearts by fostering.
Chrissy really is an Angel.
Had my boy nearly a year now and couldnt imagine life without him. With Angels help he has become a well rounded, perfect dog. ( no agression shown since the minute he walked through my door!)
Would highly recommend Angels if your looking to adopt.

A brilliant rescue, well run and all involved are very knowledgeable. They really care about the animals they rehome. Their follow up service is second to none, we were offered advise from a dog behaviourist re settling in our new addition. We were well informed re our adoptee. We now have an amazing new addition to our family. I cannot recommend this rescue highly enough.

I could not recommend this rescue enough. We have the most perfect dog we could have wished for. They were always quick to respond and were so helpful in finding us the right dog for us. We have children and they were so particular in finding us a dog that had lived with children in foster so we wouldn't worry. The home check really impressed me. It was very thorough and it was clear that this rescue really care about where the dogs are rehomed and that they are sure they are safe and well. Once home checked they were wonderful in finding us the perfect dog. We were able to easily contact the foster carer and meet our dog really quickly. We were made to feel at home and were given time alone with the dog and an opportunity to discuss our thoughts. We were given a bed for him , a lead and some dog food when we left which was so kind. We were also given a full history and he was flead/wormed, neutered and chipped. We also got a full adoption certificate. The centre have been in touch since we adopted to check we were all getting on ok and that there were no issues and we continue to keep in touch. We have a happy, healthy dog that we have had so much joy from so far and will continue to for years to come. Thank you so much.If you are looking to adopt from this rescue you couldn't have chosen better. Adoption: October 2013

We are delighted to have found such a lovely dog to be part of our family - all because of the wonderful twitter feed for their dogs in need of rescue. Our lovely little pal is a huge part of our life now and his foster mum deserves a special thank you! The home check was speedy and professional and dog handover was arranged to suit us which was much appreciated. Adoption: August 2013

As a family, we decided to add to our numbers by adopting a second dog. When we contacted Angels, we were asked about our commitment towards our current pet, how long we walked him, how long he was left alone, etc. We felt thoroughly supported throughout the process of adopting Mylo, our American Bull Dog, who we were warned was a "handful" and very playful. He turned out to be an amazing pet, with some seperation issues, but all in all, with the support of the Angels volunteers, he settled in well, and we love every minute with him. When we heard that Ruby, a staffie mastiff cross, was in emergency boarding, we asked if we could foster her They warned us that they had been advised she was aggressive, so we gently introduced her to our dogs at a park local to our house. She showed no aggression, and enjoyed a half hour of play before we returned home. Since then we decided to adopt Ruby too. She settled in well, and again Angels volunteers were always there to help us out. Wholeheartedly recommend Angels Animal Rescue to anyone looking to rescue a pup or support an animal rescue. I gave a lot of thoughtful consideration to adopting a rescue dog. I followed Twitter then Facebook on this rescue. I got useful insight and a good feeling as to their workings, their ethos and their passion to care for the dogs they rescued. I was very happy about what I saw and read. That resulted in me contacting and subsequently adopting a beautiful puppy from them. The whole process, from initial contact with the Rescue director to the subsequent communication with the lovely fosterer resulted in us adopting our beautiful, happy and healthy pup. Ive since asked the Rescue for advice on various issues varying from training, behaviour, food and health issues. The Rescue and its fabulous volunteers have been outstandingly supportive and informative. They go beyond what I ever expected of a rescue to ensure the adopter and their adoptive dog receives excellent post care. Their ethos is strong. They truly care for the lives of their rescued animals. Adoption: October 2013

These Guys are AMAZING!!! friendly helpful and do all that they can to help all the animals that come in to their care., Right from the start you know what they are looking for is the best for the animals and not people, they will match the animals to the best home and the best people for them, they explain what these issues these babies come with to ensure that you are able to address them with their help. They get no outside funding only what they raise from the volunteers who run the rescue, I have seen many happy stories develop over the months that i have been with them, and just to say that i'm glad that my Baby Mia was matched to me. Well what can I say about angels. It is such a fantastic rescue run by hard working animal loving volunteers. The support network which angels has speaks for itself. I adopted my first angels dog late last year and the entire process was professional, from the home check to meet and greet and transport of my new furbaby I couldn't complain. It doesn't stop there though, they give fantastic support and advice if needed. I now have 2 angels poochies living witg me and I have also fostered for them. Final note...what would I change about angels? Absolutely nothing :) always whats best for the dogs and I am now and will continue to be a massive supporter. Adoption: Nov 2012

Teddy was in a foster home, due to be PTS, because she "couldn't cope" with him anymore. So The Angels (Girls working there) showed me a picture and I was in love. I agreed to foster, but after a week fell in love and paid the donation/adoption fee. I have continued to support them since and they get regular updates and are there if I need them. I cannot imagine my life without my little cross-staffy now and he gets on well with my other dog. Adoption: 2012

I went from fostering my dog, but within the week gave in and fully adopted him, because I felt he fitted in well with my other dog and cat very well. The Angels are polite and friendly and are still happy to help with any issues I may have up to now, which is almost a year later.
It feels like Teddy has always been here, and I would like to thank Angels for the chance to bring this special pooch into my life. All in all a very pleasant experience. Adoption: Aug 2012
