I found Cliveglen by pure chance. We had recently lost our lovely Bulldog. The house seemed empty. I looked on google and there was the website. I telephoned Glen and they had just had an 11 month old Jackchi taken in. From what they could piece together, he was an unwanted present, he was the given to a disabled man. He spent 12 hours a day shut in a cage. Then went to Cliveglen. He really could not have gone to kinder more caring people. They were on the way for a home check when I called. His foster carers said we could go see him and we loved him immediately. Because the foster lady said she could see we were a nice decent family, they let us take him straight home. Clive was to collect him within days for his castration. He was also micro chipped and given his injection. We were encouraged to call if we had any questions or concerns. Thankfully Gizmo has settled well. He is so loving. I am here all day. He has loads of walkies. He truly is a joy to have. Where we go, he go's. All he wanted was love and kindness. If you want a small dog. Please try this rescue first. x

Clive and Glenis save many small dogs from terrible conditions and rehome some much loved pets where their owners can no longer keep them. They give their little furry friends love and care, a warm bed and lots of lovely food to make them feel loved, often for the first time in their lives. We adopted a 6 yr old bichon frise who had been used as a puppy farm breeding girl. She was timid, scared of human contact and in need of a lot of TLC. We have had her for 4 months now and she is such an important part of our family, we couldn't be without her....so much so that we've just picked up another ex breeding girl, a cavalier spaniel, as a companion for her. So our bichon, Belle and our cavalier, Poppy, will now grow old together as best friends. Clive and Glenis have kept in touch and offered help and advice where needed and they love to see our girls from time to time. Where they have rehomed dogs, they will pick them up to take them to the vets for any necessary care if the owner is unable to. They are always willing to offer any help, they don't forget about the dogs once they have rehomed them. There are loads of little dogs out there whose lives have been saved and transformed, thanks to Clive and Glenis.
